I’m an architectural and product designer originally from Managua, Nicaragua, currently based in Barcelona, working across architecture, furniture, lighting, and product design.
My background in architecture shapes how I design at every scale. Though I began with mainly residential projects, I was always drawn to furniture and objects, those elements that mediate the relationship between people and space.
This interest led me to Barcelona for a Master’s in Furniture Design at ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering, There, I refined my aesthetic and embraced industrial, production-oriented design. After graduating, I began collaborating on lighting and product projects, focusing on detail, materials, and prototyping.
Visualization and rendering have also been key in my work, strengthening my understanding of atmosphere, communication, and the relationship between design intent and representation.
I think of furniture as the interlocutor between people and architecture, the layer where interaction becomes immediate and personal.
